The 4-H Clover. Community Service is stressed. Clubs include work with Seeing Eye Puppy Raisers, Community Clubs, Pet Therapy Club, 4-H Teen Council, Animal Clubs, Horse Clubs, Gardening Club, and Adventure Club to name a few.

4-H Clubs participate in many county wide events such as open house, holiday parties, and a variety of municipal events in and around Bergen County.

The fair is coordinated with the cooperation and support of the Bergen County Parks Department, Bergen County Leader's Association, Rutgers Master Gardeners of Bergen County, and the Bergen County Board of Agriculture. The fair gives 4-H members an opportunity to showcase their talents and project work in the areas of animal science, arts and crafts, horticulture, foods and nutrition, photography, and youth leadership. Bergen County residents were treated to a family day filled with fun exhibits, and educational demonstrations.

This year, the Fair will be held at Van Saun County Park in Paramus in conjunction with the Bergen County Art in the Park Day, on Saturday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some of our new exhibits and activities include Sheriff's Department K-9 Demonstration, Sussex County Knex Club workshop, Home Depot interactive building workshop, Seeing Eye Dog show, Reflections Teen Improve Theatre, Get Moving-Get Healthy with NJ 4-H interactive activities, and our first annual 4-H Photo Contest (349k PDF), open to all Bergen County youth.
